5th Annual Girls Beach Weekend

This past weekend we headed back to Rockaway for our 5th Annual Girls Getaway!!!

Last year we discussed it... but this year we took it a step further... we documented it!

Yes! On the way to the beach house Mona, Shawna and I took a quick detour to the "mini-toliets" at Tillamok's Fred Myers!

Once we all arrived in Rockaway, it wasn't surprising to see this was the first thing everyone unpacked. :o)


Friday night we checked out a new restaurant in town... where Amy and I had our first "spongbob" experience... He quickly became our unauthorized weekend mascot and most requested beverage. :o)

Saturday we went into town where we discovered all kinds of items for sale... a few of which were rather disturbing!! :o)

However we did all splurge on matching $2 rings... to go with our "face-wear" (bindis).

This year we made it to the bingo hall in time to irritate the regulars, but sadly no one won.

The Twihards in our group were always happy to return home to "the boys"... although a tug-a-war for Edward's affection was a common occurrence!!

Unlike last year, I can't remember many of our deep (thought provoking) conversations. I don't know why this is..... Maybe it was the spongebobs... the sh_twards... and Shawna's golden moose!?

What I do remember was the opportunity to relax with great friends and share in the hours of laughter! I can't wait until next year!
